Goodwill Southern California Goodwill Southern California’s mission is to “Transform Lives through the Power of Work.” Goodwill serves those with limited resources, individuals with disabilities and disadvantages by providing education, training, work experience and job placement services which leads to greater independence, self-sufficiency, dignity and purpose. Goodwill’s broad and inclusive approach to outreach is inspired by their mission’s four cornerstones.
Learn4Life- Charter School Learn4Life is a network of public charter schools offering a free high school diploma program through resource centers located throughout Southern California. Learn4Life’s mission is to connect with students who have dropped out or in the midst of dropping out of school. Their goals are to: • Motivate Each student receives an individualized learning plan and one on one attention and is geared towards their individual learning style. Modules are self-paced. Weekly group sessions for students are conducted to provide a limited classroom yet social setting. Instructors are credentialed and tutors are available for students if needed. The school isWACS and UC course approved. Learn4Life follows alternative school standards. 2 distinct programs: • Independent Study- grades 9-12 • Home Study- K-12 program In addition, Learn4Life also has a Mobile Learning Center (MLC) that travels to rural agriculture areas where stu dents have difficulty reaching classrooms. • Mentor • Counsel • Teach

Through their various partnerships of the AJCC, Goodwill Southern California brings job seekers and employers together by finding candidates and screening prospective employees. Career seekers receive assistance in various areas such as: • Job search strategies • Résumé writing • Computer and skills training
• Interview workshops • Financial management • Textbooks, bus passes, and other work tools
• On-the-Job Training opportunities • Career development and job leads In June 2018, Goodwill of Southern California was officially added as a co-located Partner in the Riverside AJCC
