Projected Industry Growth The State of California Employment Development Department estimates total industrial employment for Riverside County from 2014 to 2024 to grow by 250,300 jobs or 1.8%. From 2013 to 2018, the WDB target industries have been very strong showing a growth of over 68,000 jobs or 28.3% increase in jobs. Targeted industries are approved by theWDB, included in the Local Plan and vocational training dollars are spent to support employment opportunities in these industries Source: EMSI Analyst

Future projections for these industry groups predict an

increase of more than 36,000 jobs or an 11.8% increase in the next 5 years.
