Youth Services In order to achieve the Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA) measurement goals, the youth programutilizes numerous Community Partnerships to serve several geographic areas throughout the County of Riverside. These Community Partnerships facilitate the operation of WIOA’s Youth Opportunity Centers (YOC’s). Their purpose is to provide various areas with a “One-Stop” Center, where the youth can go to receive WIOA program services. Currently, there are six Youth Opportunity Centers (YOC’s) operating in the County of Riverside. They are located in the following areas: Hemet, Indio, Lake Elsinore, Moreno Valley, Perris and Rubidoux (also known as Jurupa Valley). WIOA and its correspondingWorkforce Development programs help to ensure that our communities will sustain an abundant supply of skilled workers and leaders for the future. This past year the YOC’s were able to serve over 900 youth between the ages of 14-24.
