Recruitments The Business Solutions Team provides staff recruitment assistance to businesses in an effort to find skilled, qualified candidates. The team is able to assist with: • Pre-Screening • Testing • Posting job openings • Assessment • Scheduling a room and set-up for a recruitment

Preventing and Responding to Lay-Offs Services have been provided for six companies retaining 82 jobs The Workforce Development Center partners with California Manufacturing Technology Consulting (CMTC) and Rapid 3D which offers assistance to help select businesses add:

• Value to their products • Increase speed to market • Improve productivity and profitability

The businesses also receive: • Company assessment • Personalized planning • Self-implementation tools to help meet their goals

The Business Solutions Team has qualified professionals who provide workshops for the businesses and affected employees to share resources and referrals in an effort to assist the workers in transitioning to new employment. The resources have included but are not limited to: • Employment Development Department • Filing Unemployment Insurance • Information regarding the Trade Adjustment Act (TAA) program • Covered California (medical benefits) • Keep Your Home California (program expired 6/30/2018) • Workforce Development Current and upcoming openings • Recruitments • 96 Recruitments were sponsored by the AJCC-Business Solutions Team Job fairs • 10 Job fairs were sponsored and or participated by the Business Solutions Team Career services Reemployment focused workshops Re-Training
