Local Workforce BoardMembership In accordance with theWorkforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, theWDB is required to include aminimummembership that includes:
• Business Representatives – majority, at least 51% • Workforce Representatives – no less than 20% • Other Representatives (balance of membership) to include: • Adult Education/Literacy Providers • Higher Education (including community colleges)
• Economic and Community Development • Wagner-Peyser Employment Services • Vocational Rehabilitation • May include others determined appropriate by chief elected officials
