 Learn to Read, Read to Learn – Life Long Learning Campaign  Library Foundation – Creation complete. Policies and Procedures underway  Literacy Strategic Plan complete and in effect  RCLS Policies and Procedures update underway  Finalizing 12 branches to host the Census Action Kiosks (CAK).  Researching Grant opportunity for mobile services pilot project  Literacy Services Newsletter released (copy attached)

Open Path Pilot Program

 Assists English learners by converting words in a way they can read by sounds  Pilot Project in Mecca and Coachella library  Awaiting data on tracking usage by software company

 Groundbreaking 2020 – Marketing coordinating dates with City for March 2020

 Interior refresh – new furniture  Staff met with City of Coachella to tell them about the program
